I have been trying to locate records that were previously on your database that are no longer there… Are you still putting more on and when will the database be totally functional?

  6. John O'Reilly Says:

I second Len’s question on 9/7: “What happened to the Philadelphia Marriage indexes?”

I have been using that information to identify spouses of my relatives and am mad that those records have disappeared.

Is the Philadelphia Marriage Indexes database available on any of your Familysearch websites that are open to the public? If not, will it be back online soon? It’s a great resource for my family research. I am sure many people can benefit from using them.
    Thanks for your help.

How does Record Search relate to the IGI? An explanation would be helpful. Also, it would be helpful if the film number could be linked to http://www.familysearch.org. When trying to find in the IGI the batch number listed on record search there were no results. It would be helpful to know the relevancy of Record Search to the IGI.

I have using an old program “Family Orgins.” It gives the ability to creat ancestors reports with the ancestor, children and it would be nice if it would include the spouses of the children. It includes all notes and comments in your file. This allows you to creat a report in the form of a book. This would be helpful in publishing a family history.

  17. Allen Potts Says:

It would be helpful if the update to program would allow a gedcom to be created, that could be down loaded. This is very helpful those who are starting their genealogy to download the info on Family Searh pertaining to their family. This is possible in family search.org.
By way does the church plan on allowing access to the old Family Search.
